Requirements for New Guests
The Ranch welcomes social, non-aggressive dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages and activity levels.
Meet and Greet
Dogs and their parents must first attend a meet and greet at the Ranch to determine whether our cage free social environment would be a suitable fit and what type of accommodation would best meet your dog’s individual needs. Meet and greets are by appointment only. We will also confirm by email 24 hours prior to your appointment. We understand that unpredictable things come up, however, If you cannot make your appointment or are running late please let us know as we would prefer to be out hiking with the dogs than awaiting a late arrival. If you will be more than an hour late, please just call to rebook another appointment.
For safety reasons, please do not bring children to the Meet & Greet.
We also recommend a trial daycare day or 1 night overnight stay prior to your dog’s first long term stay so that we can assess your dog’s comfort level at the Ranch.
For the health and safety of our guests, all dogs using any of our services must satisfy the following health requirements:
1. current with the following vaccinations: distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza, rabies and bordatella (every 6 months) or proof of titers
2. dogs must be on an active flea, tick, and heartworm preventative between the months of May and November
3. an up-to-date health certificate from your veterinarian verifying that these vaccinations are current must be provided
4. dogs over the age of 9 months must be spayed or neutered
If your dog exhibits any sign of a contagious or infectious illness such as diarrhea, cough, vomiting, fever, please do not bring your dog to the Ranch until you have received a certificate from your veterinarian that your dog poses no risks to other dogs.
